Clean room,Friendly service, I would stay here again.

Not updated like the rest of the Holiday Inn Express out there, so slightly musty old hotel smell, but you quickly get used to it. Good location and good service.

Front desk person did minimal service. Didn't discuss any amenities. Hotel room was clean

Great place to stay. Customer service was excellent! I had left a pair of earrings in the room. I called and spoke with the manager. They were able to find them. She sent them to me via priority mail with her own money, to Minnesota! Exceptional!!!!

My experience was Great! It was clean. The employees were nice. The pool was open. They had a little meet and Greet from 6-8. Free Lasagna and beers. The lasagna was ehhh. But it was free so it was kinda good lol. The pool was refreshing. They do have like 4 LARGE wasp nests under the eaves of the building and a large number of Wasps flying around the pool. So that cut our time at the pool short. The full Hot Breakfast in the morning was good. I would return if i was ever in the area again.

Nicest hotel in your going to stay in the city of Zapata, the front desk employees are very friendly and accommodating, it’s a smaller hotel, but it was nice having up close parking and being helped without having to wait. Hotel was very clean and upkept, nice breakfast in the morning and quiet at night which is a plus!

Let's be clear you're on the border of Texas and Mexico and a very small town so your expectations should be thus. The check-in was lovely the woman Manning the desk was quite sweet and I was able to find my room easily. I was upgraded to a suite And I appreciated the spaciousness..... The room was very clean the bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. The air conditioning was tolerable although I would have preferred it much cooler as it was hot in Texas... The room stayed probably at a cool 78 in the day and drop down is down to 75 in the evening. The towels were as scratchy as they could be and probably need to be replaced the carpet in the room looks like it's seen some pretty bad things and honestly you can't help but To wonder what has happened in these rooms. The entire property is well maintained but it really does need a face lift :) Being on the border you can't help but to worry about security I was a woman traveling alone but I felt that the hotel did a great job at keeping the parking lot lit And I felt safe for the duration of my stay. Zapata is a lovely town and I enjoyed my stay the food is great and so are the people. The best tacos I've had probably in my life were at the stripe's gas station down the street do yourself a favor and grab some

We were there from California, for a funeral, manager was awesome, nice, she even gave us rides on her car to buy food, we had auto trouble, so we had to stay 1 week.
